Melia Stewart
Associate
Melia is a fourth year associate practicing in the areas of corporate, commercial and employment law with Legal Sneakers. Her education includes an undergraduate degree in Economics and English, as well as a Certificate in the Economics and Management of the Environment, Natural Resources and Energy. In 2018 she received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto and was called to the Alberta bar in 2019 after completing her articles at Blake, Cassels and Graydon LLP. She has been with Legal Sneakers ever since and has developed a strong grasp on the corporate and commercial needs of startups and entrepreneurs. Outside of the law, Melia enjoys cabinetmaking, painting, knitwear design and surfing.
